:: kaftans. yes, kaftans ::

Pinch me, it can NOT be the middle of July. One thing is for certain, it's hotter than Hades here in Boston. I wore jeans over the weekend because I was on a boat (more on that in an upcoming post) and am deathly afraid of sunburning my northern European skin. Melanoma aside, it was a huge mistake.

On that note, all I want to wear are what's below. Work appropriate? Er, no. Breezy and beautiful? Yesssss. I want to make a Mrs. Roper or Dorothy Zbornak joke here, but fear that no one will get it. And that's just gonna make me feel old. So without any more build up, let me present:
kaftans

  1. Just found you through the NE Bloggers Network & I'm a Boston girl, too! Living in the suburbs now but I grew up right outside the city and still work there. I love finding other bloggers in this area, it always seems so rare!

    Oh, and I would totally wear those things to work. This heatwave is not okay and being pregnant makes it even more obnoxious than it already is. There were a few days where my AC wasn't working in my classroom and I told my boss that I would be wearing a beach coverup if I needed to. It's too damn hot!

  2. Those are all beautiful, and I think work appropriate as long as you wear correct undergarments or maybe legging capris.

    But, I wear cartoon character scrubs to work, so what do I know?
