:: move over, gone girl ::

I read a TON. But it seems like everyone, even non-readers, have devoured Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl. They're even planning to make a movie out of it with Ben Affleck playing the husband. Let me say now that I disagree with this casting choice, Boston boy or not. Plus, we all know the ending, so how's this gonna work?

Anyway, the book I'm currently reading is being buzzed about as the "European Gone Girl"...as in twisty and turny and uncomfortably uncomfortable. Just in a Dutch way instead of American. I have about 50 pages left, and it's all I can do to wait for my lunch hour.

  5. I listed to Gone Girl on my Audible app and I liked it, but I didn't love it. And Ben... yeah not so much. he's too swarmy and confident for the role. I'm going to look up the book you're reading!

    1. a lot of people felt unsatisfied i think. mostly because everyone's evil...there's no one to root for. that didn't bother me...i think that's why i'm "breaking bad" obsessed too!
